Project Management
Edward is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with Project Management Institute USA. As an experienced consultant, he held project leadership roles ranging from team leader, application support leader, integration manager, data manager, delivery manager, project manager in leading, managing and quality controlling business process improvement and IT assignments.
Edward is well-verse with PMBOK process groups & knowledge areas, Ascendant and agile methodology. His works covers end-to-end project lifecycle from project preparation to post-implementation support covering tasks among others statement of work (SoW) preparation, contractor, staff selection and recruitment.
Change Management & Training
Almost all process improvement and ERP ‘green-field’ projects involved some form of change management. Communication of changes, stakeholder management, job roles realignment and re-training are all part of parcel of these projects. Edward held change management responsibility directly and indirectly on some of these projects.
On the training component, Edward was SAP trainer (mainly SD/MM and other logistics modules) for about 3 years delivering courses to SAP customers when he was with SAP Singapore and Malaysia. In some project delivery and internal consulting assignments, Edward was responsible for training materials preparation (e.g. SAP screen recording and ppt), training courses delivery and mentoring. Edward was also a part-time lecturer for a year teaching mature student on supply and purchasing management courses at Monash University KL campus.
Business Development
Edward was practice manager for two Big 4 accounting & advisory firms. As practice manager, he was responsible for account management, bid & proposal (RFP response), pre-sales, business case analysis and business model development, solution conceptualisation, develop consulting capabilities, research & knowledge capital building, staff mentoring and training.
